Shall we sing or ring ?

Shall they rush or snub ?

When all else fails

And the palace birds go silent

Where will the golden Diasporan alight ?

What matters is what you bring

Whether a pub or even a stub

But surely not the Manchester rails

Just be careful not to relent

For fear of provoking another potato blight.

  1. Read quite a good number of the poems and one has this nagging appetite to read something more after reading the short ones. More grease to your elbows and abundant blessings to you and your family now and always.
